For the largest mining tradeshow in the industry, I volunteered to design an interactive app using Intuiface. With only one week to learn the platform, I independently transformed a static PowerPoint presentation into a dynamic, interactive experience tailored for tradeshow monitors.
The project was a success, enhancing audience engagement at the event and showcasing our technology in a more impactful way.
Since then, I continue to receive requests for support with Intuiface, establishing myself as the go-to resource for the tool within the team.
Key Contributions:
For MINExpo 2024, one of the largest mining tradeshows in the industry, senior leadership at Weir requested an interactive tradeshow app that would showcase a comprehensive catalog of Weir’s products and brands in an engaging, touch-friendly format.
I volunteered to take full ownership of the project, despite having no prior experience with Intuiface, the platform selected for the app. The timeline was tight: I had one week to learn the tool and deliver a fully functional interactive experience, without any formal training or internal support.
Balancing speed, technical learning, and usability under a strict deadline was the core challenge.

I began by onboarding myself into Intuiface using online documentation and community resources. In parallel, the Weir team shared a PowerPoint presentation that outlined the intended layout, content structure, and interactions.
Using this as a foundation, I recreated the entire experience in Intuiface, rebuilding each slide as an interactive screen and enhancing it with touch-based interactions suitable for large tradeshow monitors. I also recreated all visual assets to ensure consistency, performance, and a polished final experience.
Working independently, I managed the full process end-to-end, from learning the platform to design, animation, interaction setup, and final delivery, within the one-week timeframe.
The interactive app was successfully deployed at MINExpo, transforming a static presentation into an engaging, immersive product catalog experience.
The project was well received by stakeholders and leadership, and it demonstrated the value of interactive content in high-traffic tradeshow environments.
Following its success, I continued to receive requests to support and build additional experiences using Intuiface, establishing myself as the go-to resource for the platform within the team.
